In any type of situation, whether it be a personal project with unlimited time to shoot or a high stress client project with a super tight turn around – I am always looking to create something cinematic, emotional and unique with my camera work.
There is an incredible amount of content out there these days. A lot of mediocre stories with poorly and randomly assembled imagery. There is also a fair amount of incredible stories – matched with very flat and unmotivated visuals. And then there are insanely beautiful pieces that are just completely lacking any content. Personally, I am looking for that sweet-spot of marrying the two – excellent storytelling combined with beautiful and cinematic visuals that let the viewer dive even deeper into the story and connect in a way that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
